Through the years I have found myself continuously drawn toward a consistent artistic theme, landscape design. It began in my teens and progressed through college, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture. The creation of three-dimensional sculpture with a thematic base in the natural form and function of plants is an intriguing concept and one I have worked with often. Sometimes, the plants are prisoners of the design, bent and shaped to fit the vision, while other times, the human is imprisoned from or within it, ensconced in the womb of nature as they travel through or around the piece. Now my desire is to bring this concept to a new level by creating, hrough a collaborative experiment, The Last Stand.
